An open letter to the CIO

I stumbled on this open letter at The Register, and thought it was important because although I’ve never been in the position of a security specialist for any company, I have served that position with family, friends, school administration, and even for the home computers of people I do work for. I can’t agree more that the average computer guru is viewed as a "pest" or a "glorified geek."
