Apple Plans To Release Rendezvous As Open Source
It's nice to see Apple using it's head, by releasing Rendezvous as open source apple is setting itself up with direct competition with Microsoft universal plug and play technology which from what I understand provides almost identical functionality.See full story at Mac Central
It's nice to see Apple using it's head, by releasing Rendezvous as open source apple is setting itself up with direct competition with Microsoft universal plug and play technology which from what I understand provides almost identical functionality, but of course as Microsoft product I can safely say that UPnP has lots of bugs, I've been trying for the past month to get it to work with my linksys router and I've given up. So if apple can out do MS with a better protocol good for them, it's better for every one and they have my support
