Don’t expect privacy in public

HackingDouglas Boudreau, a twenty one year old student attending Boston College was according to Paul Roberts of IDG News Service caught stealing information from more then four thousand of his student peers via his installation of keystroke monitoring software. According to Roberts the information included “…computer passwords, confidential access codes to BC buildings, Social Security numbers and credit card numbers.” Boudreau now stands to face his indictment that was given to him by a Massachusetts grand jury.

By the way, Boudreau should be considered a cracker, not a hacker.
