In an effort to stop spam, Earthlink will be offering their members a challenge-response feature for their email accounts that doesn't allow emails in without first sending a challenge that consists of a picture or something that a person has to respond back with and only when that specific response is received is when the email is finally sent to the recipient's mailbox. Since most spams have a forged return address, this looks like a great way to almost completely eliminate them, but this may cause havok with automated systems and mailing lists.
