Has apple created a new PDA device and updated the Ipod video?
According to articles floating around the rumor mill (see ARS Technica) Apple is in the process of acquiring Palm. Also, Apple has recently patented what seems to look a lot like a tablet based touch screen Mac see macobserver.com. Note apple has been including handwriting technology know as Inkwell into its latest operating system see Apple.com To further suspicion ThinkSecret has complete details of a touch screen based ipod that no longer uses the click wheel, but instead uses a touch screen. Which will keep the ipod itself the same size, but allow for much larger screen sizes. Engadget.com has posted actual illustrations of the tablet device . And Worldofapple.com has posted an actual video demonstration of the touch screen capabilities of the new devices.
